Numerologists believe that there are nine unique archetypes corresponding to nine cycles of development - the numbers 1 through 9. These numbers are also called Core Numbers or, Digital Root Numbers. We shall now examine the evolution of these Root Numbers.

We begin with the Zero. This is the un-manifest where everything exists in potential. The Zero neither contains nor is contained by any number. It exists outside of any cycle. When the Zero is added to any number it symbolizes a perfection of that number's meaning. Although 1 is the root of 10, 10 is not strictly synounymous with 1. If what we express is to be of lasting value we must work to create a solid foundation - the Four. Many projects falter before reaching this point, making it to Three but never bridging the gap between expressing a higher ideal, 3, and embodying a higher ideal, 4. In order to maintain its balance the 4 must close off or limit the influence it is working with. The Number Four takes the ideas expressed by the Three and adds a self-imposed limitation, creating a stabile and enduring foundation.

After the discipline of the Four we encounter the change and activity of The Number Five, in effect testing the solidity of our foundation. The Five, 5, turns itself around and introduces freedom and adventure. It is open in both the front and the back. A few from that list were Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Schweitzer, Leonardo de Vinci, St. Francis of Assisi, Aristotle, Plato and Socrates.

The reputations of these souls are well known. They were men of extreme accomplishment and clearly distinguished themselves as exceptional human beings. It is safe to say that these men not only attained enormous status in their fields and stature among humans, but they also expressed a relatively high level of enlightenment. Yet, it is also probably safe to say that compared to Jesus the Christ, they were not as evolved spiritually. Therefore, the question must be asked: "If these great and evolved souls were vegetarians, if they chose not to kill, slaughter and eat the flesh of animals because of their elevated state of consciousness, their tender- heartedness, their disdain for destruction and reverence for all life, how could one such as the Christ -- so much more highly evolved -- express lesser thought and action?" Thus, the issue is not if Jesus were a vegetarian. The question is, "How could Jesus not have been a vegetarian?"

Here was a Son of God who taught that one cannot serve two masters - God and mammon. Here was a Divine Being whose life was about Light, not darkness; life, not death; who taught that God is a Spirit and that the desires of the flesh were of the devil, the negative power. How in His Kingdom, therefore, could such a Son of God slay animals, eat their flesh and support the very force which he spent his entire life and lifeblood opposing? To reiterate, then, the germane question is not whether Jesus the Christ, Son of God, was a vegetarian. It is, most emphatically, "How could he not have been?"

Now for those who question, who doubt the plausibility of this argument, there is a test. It is simple. It is not philosophic. It is experiential. It is this -- become a vegetarian. Walk the path. Live the life. Experience the changes in consciousness. Observe the spiritual growth. Feel the body's vibratory state become finer and calmer. Do it. And do it for years -- five, ten, fifteen, twenty years. Do it for a lifetime. Walk in the shoes of those who refuse to kill, slay and slaughter animals for the meat that is their flesh, who refuse to eat that meat, who refuse to associate with such negativity. Don't judge it, criticize it, condemn it. Don't talk it. Walk it! Then, when the experiment is over, try to return to an omnivorous diet. It will be like bathing in a dung heap. Not only will eating meat be repugnant, it will be impossible. It is ignorant and foolish to deny the experiences and revelations of those who have climbed the mountain when we have never climbed it and, in fact, are still immersed in the Valley of the Shadow of Death below. Knowledge gained as a result of personal experience is, unquestionably, superior to that acquired from books, papers, documents or word of mouth. Experience always has been and will always be the very best teacher. Make the commitment. Climb the mountain. Live the life. Learn the truth and don't just talk it. Walk it! And when that is all said and done, if there is still a need, ask the question to the image in the mirror, "Was Christ a vegetarian?" The answer will surely be, "How could Jesus the Christ --Son of God, Giver of Life and teacher of the great Law of Karma, of sowing and reaping, not have been a vegetarian?"

In short, some momentous event will occur around Hillary's 60th birthday which will shape the rest of her life. What more fitting event could you name than officially beginning a run for the presidency of the United States.

There are two kinds of birthday numerology.

One way to figure it out is to learn what the number means for the exact day of the month on which you were born. So if you were born on the 1st day of the month, you'll have certain traits and tendencies, that will be different from those who were born on the 5th day of the month, or the 15th, or the 25th, and so on. Of course, there's a limited number of traits, so you'll find that some traits overlap from day to day - or rather from number to number..

The other way to work out birthday numerology is to work out the one number represented by your complete birthday - the number of the month, of the day, and of the year that you were born.

So, what is your number? There is a simple formula to compute this.

Add the Day to the Month to the Year. This gives you what is called a "vibratory" number. But, be careful. There's a certain method to this formula.

For example, if someone is born on 1 November, 1976.... you might think they would add 1 to 11 to 1976. Not so. November is the eleventh month, so you would add 1 + 1, which would give you the number 2. Similarly, you don't add 1976, you need to reduce that to one number also. So you add 1 to 9 which gives 10... or 1, then add 7 to that, which gives 8. You then add 6 to that, which gives you 14. This needs to be reduced down, to 5. (This works if you do it in a different way, as well. Say you just add up 1 + 9 + 7 + 6. That gives you 23, which adds to 5 as well.)

That's birthday numerology in a nutshell. Now, once you have that one number, what do you do with it?

For example, July 5th, 2006 had a Universal Day number of (2).

07-05-2006 = (0 + 7 + 0 + 5 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 6) = (20) = (2 + 0) = 2

So, July 5th, 2006 was a Lucky day for Orlando Bloom, and anyone else who has a Life Path value of (2).

The other kind of Lucky Day that Numerology predicts for you is days that match your birthday. Here I mean the day of the Month on which you were born. If you were born on the 13th day of the month like Orlando Bloom, then the 13th day of each month matches your birthday, and will be lucky for you.
Of course, your actual yearly birthday celebration will be particularly lucky for you. Many cultures believe that your annual birthday is a lucky day.

Finally, on a (9) year cycle, beginning on your 9th birthday, and including your 18th, 27th, 36th, etc. your birthday will fall on days where the Universal Day value matches your Life Path. A friend forwarded me an article on Australian actor Simon Baker - star of the popular series 'The Mentalist.' He's had a few name changes in his life, due to his parents' divorce and mother's remarriage. Baker says he didn't know his real name for 30 years. Luckily for him, once he found it, he struck gold.

Simon was only two when his mom re-married. His step dad changed his name to 'Simon Denny.' It's a 40/4 name - resonating to genius, retrospection and a mental superiority over others. You're probably thinking that's a good fit for the star of 'The Mentalist.'

How do you deal with tough times, especially these times? They are like no other times we've known in modern times. Yet, they are the times of our life, and whether we like these times or not, we're stuck with them, and learning to manage our lives within them is a challenge. Following are the "Three Rs" of toughing it out in tough times.

Resolve
When you're up to your neck in alligators, it's hard to remember that your main objective was to drain the swamp. Yet, your job is to drain the swamp. If you're going to accomplish draining the swamp or succeeding in toughing it out in tough times, you've got to have resolve.

Resolve simply means to be determined, relentlessly determined. You make up your mind to succeed, plant the image, and keep going. Tough times have their problems but their solutions lie within them. That's one of the beautiful secrets of life. Go within yourself and find those solutions. The answer's there, inside. The memories of last world-cup held in South Africa in 2003, are still fresh in the mind of people and why not Indian team reached the final of the cup after a gap of 20 years. Though in final, we lost comprehensively to Australia. Everybody played to the best of the abilities but somehow failed to cross the final hurdle. But to whom would you like to blame for that? We don't have to blame any external factor, not even our team but only "we, the people of India" and to very large extent...our Visual Media.

Among the readers of this article, how many of us are able to work under pressure? How many to us are able to perform well, when there are high expectations? How many have excelled well, when there is high pressure? I don't think that any of you will give positive reply. So, what was you expecting from the team with an average age of 27 years, when there was pressure of the expectations of 100 crore people? Yes, our team failed and surrendered to that pressure and stress.

Whenever there is a cricket match, involving Indian Team, our NEWS Channels get diet for the day. They have nothing to do but appraise our players by sitting in the studio; criticize the performance of some players; go ga-ga over others' performance and do unwarranted, senseless and illogical comparison. That is what happened last time. Some of sports journalist of leading NEWS Channels , like Star News, NDTV, Aajtak et al, went to the houses of team players...interacted with their family members; brought Astrologists, Numerologist and all such people to their studios and they did nothing, other than building the pressure on the team. Let's not make those mistakes again. Let's hold ourselves and our celebrations till the last ball is bowled. We have very bright chance and one of our best chances to win this world-cup.

There is a lot of pressure, when people play in front of so many people. There is an unwanted pressure when someone represents his or her country at that level. There is a pressure to succeed...to be successful...to win for country. So, my entire Journalist friends' please, don't build that extra pressure on our team, by sitting in studios; don't give our players that extra stress and tensions. In other words, please don't do anything that you don't want other's to do to you.

Even after 60 years of independence, we are still considered as "Developing Country". We need to do so many other things. There are so many areas to concentrate on. There is lot to do to come in the category of "Developed Nation". Let's concentrate on that.

India, a country of 100 crores, is not about some 5000 odd politicians, some 300 odd movie stars and some 30 cricketers. India is much more than that. Still, there are villages where there is no electricity; there are areas where there are no healthcare facilities, no schools, and no education facilities. There are people who stay in slums, footpaths, they don't have enough avenues to earn as much to eat thrice in a day. Let's concentrate on that. Let's bring the attention of powerful and influential people to such matters.
